West Midlands Unsigned Talent
The Youth Stage is dedicated to emerging unsigned artists from Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands. Afrobeats, Reggae, R&B, Gospel, Spoken Word — the next generation on a real festival stage. Applications open. Deadline: 1 June 2026.

Roots & Rhythms Festival is Wolverhampton's proudest one-day celebration of music, culture, food and community. Organised by ELEVANAA CIC — a West Midlands Community Interest Company — every surplus generated is reinvested into our programmes for young people across Wolverhampton.
Taking place at East Park — one of Wolverhampton's most beautiful green spaces — the festival is fully accessible, family-first and community-rooted at every level.

Wolverhampton station is approximately 1 mile from East Park — 20 minutes on foot or a short bus or taxi ride. Direct trains from Birmingham, London Euston and Manchester.
Multiple National Express West Midlands routes serve East Park from Wolverhampton city centre. Check the NXWM app or Traveline for live times on the day.
No on-site parking. Park and walk from Wolverhampton city centre car parks (10–20 minutes). Car-sharing strongly encouraged.
Cycling encouraged. Secure cycle storage on site. Check the council's active travel cycling routes before the day.
Uber, Bolt and local taxis all serve the area. Drop-off on Hickman Avenue. Pre-book your return to avoid post-show waits.
